Apex Legends – Season 7 Tier List

The new – Season of has already started a week ago. What has changed with the latest patch? Find out with our Legends Tier List for – Season 7.

There were some big changes with the last update – and some of them affected specific Legends and their abilities. What are the best characters in – Season 7 of Apex Legends? Let’s start with the worst ones and slowly work our way towards the best ones!

D Tier
Octane
Octane got a nice buff with – Season 7, as his passive regeneration rate was doubled. Is that enough to make him survivable? Actually, no. He offers next to no utility and feels more like a toned down version of Bloodhound.

Mirage
Mirage is one of the most fun legendaries in the game. Fooling the enemies won’t get you too far, though. The more experienced players you meet, the lower your chances of success. It’s nice to escape certain death, but in most cases it will make the enemies hunt you down to finish you off.

C Animal
Loba
Loba isn’t so bad, is she? She’s been at the bottom of the leaderboards since her release – and there’s probably a good reason for that. Her passive is situational at best and doesn’t give you any advantage in a team fight. You can flank enemies with her teleport, but the range on it is kind of lacking. Your kit could definitely use some reinforcements!

Rampart
Rampart suffers more from the change of scenery than anything else. Olympus is a map with a lot of open areas, which makes it hard for her to place her Ulti. On the plus side, Sheila can be placed on a Trident vehicle.

B Tier
Revenant
Revenant’s kit remained unchanged into the new – Season , but he is arguably a bit better on Olympus. He can counter most other characters with his silence – and his ult can be a game changer if used correctly.

Caustic
Caustic got a nerf with – Season 7. His gas no longer clouds an opponent’s vision, but the damage has been increased. Once again, Olympus is an open map – and it’s harder than before to find enclosed spaces to stack canisters in.

Crypto
When you play Crypto, communication with your team is vital. If that’s missing, he’s really weak. Make sure your drone doesn’t get shot down if you plan on using your Ulti. As long as you keep all that in mind, you should be fine. He’s also a direct counter to Wattson and she’s not so good on Olympus.

Wattson
If you are looking for a place to camp on Olympus, you will be disappointed. Wattson has the same problem as Caustic in – Season 7 and it’s all about finding the right spot on the map. Even if you manage to find the perfect spot, all your efforts can be ruined by Crypto’s EMP. Sad.

A Tier
Bangalore
Bangalore is where it has always been. A perfect legend for beginners, the typical soldier. She thrives on the current map, as her mobility is all but guaranteed. Her smoke can give you cover in otherwise open areas and give you the advantage.

Bloodhound
Good old Bloodhound has certainly gotten better in – Season 7. The legend’s ulti and passives have been seriously beefed up, and now it’s much harder to escape a rampaging Bloodhound. The cooldown of his tactic has been reduced to 6 seconds under the influence of Beast of the Hunt.

Horizon
Horizon is the newest legend on the list and many people probably haven’t played against her yet. Her kit includes some new mechanics, and the tactical cooldown is rather low. With her, you can attack yourself or an enemy that is behind cover. Her Ulti is also great for luring enemies out of a corner. We advise you to play her right now, before people start figuring out how to counter her, or before she gets grounded.

Pathfinder
Pathfinder has changed again in – Season 7, arguably for the better. The cooldown on his grappling hook has been reduced to a maximum of 30 seconds. The ability’s cooldown depends on the distance traveled, so it’s much better than before. Pathfinder does very well on Olympus and his mobility is unparalleled.

S Tier
Lifeline
Lifeline is always a solid choice in any game. Her passive is better than ever, as you can easily leave the drone to revive a teammate while providing cover fire. Alternatively, you can revive two teammates at once. Feed her ultimate accelerator, and her ultimate will give you an advantage.

Gibraltar
Gibby is the only legend in the game capable of taking a Kraber shot to the head and surviving. This is thanks to his passive shield, but Gibraltar offers much more. He is perfect on Olympus, as his Dome of Protection provides a bastion in otherwise open space. He also revives his teammates for 4 seconds instead of 5 and uses consumables 15% faster when in the dome.

Wraith
Wraith is arguably at her worst in – Season 7, but she’s still one of the best legendaries in the game. At this point, we are sure that any more nerfs in her kit will dethrone her from the S-Tier. Nothing has changed about her in the new – Season , and that’s not a bad thing. Her entire kit is insanely useful on Olympus. From her passive warning of danger, to her tactics that allow you to escape, to her Ulti that can safely transport your entire team.

What is actually… “Apex Legends?

Within 24 hours, “Apex Legends” became the most-watched game on Twitch – after one week, over 25 million people were already playing it. What is the battle royale shooter about?

What is “Apex Legends” about?

Scenario: In a distant future, bandits, adventurers, and outlaws settle their disputes in a sporting contest to the death. The setting is a fertile, industrially developed valley on the edge of the galaxy.

  • Genre: Battle Royale shooter
  • Game modes: survival battle between a maximum of 20 teams of three.

At its core, “Apex Legends” is a classic battle-royale shooter: up to 60 players land simultaneously in teams of three on the game map called “Kings Canyon” – a densely built-up, fertile valley with many accessible houses, bunkers and towers. Once on the ground, unarmed players must search their surroundings for equipment and ammunition. The goal of the game is to stay alive until the end.

To prevent players from hiding all over the map and waiting to automatically be the last one left, the game area shrinks every few minutes. The longer a round lasts, the smaller the area where survivors can move and hide.

Apex Legends refreshes this now classic game formula with some ideas that are unique to the genre: For example, before starting a round, players select one of eight heroes, each of which has two special abilities and facilitates certain play styles.

Bangalore, for example, is the classic soldier who can conceal her position with smoke grenades and call in an artillery strike in an emergency. The heroine Lifeline, on the other hand, can summon a drone to heal teammates – or directly order the delivery of high-value weapons and equipment via aerial drone. This way, all players can find the right hero for their preferred course of action.

How can I play Apex Legends?

Platform: “Apex Legends” is available for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Price: The battle royale shooter is a “Free to Play” title and can basically be played for free on all platforms.

In-game purchases: “Apex Legends” allows the purchase of cosmetic items and new heroes either by means of in-game currency, which can be earned for free in every round, or with real money. The real-money currency “Apex Coins” can be purchased in five different amounts: The smallest possible amount is 1000 Apex Points for around 9.99 euros, while the largest pack with 10,000 Apex Points content costs 99.99 euros.

The developer emphasizes that it is not possible to buy game advantages with the help of real money: You can only use it to customize the appearance of the heroes, it says, or purchase new heroes.

Age rating: “Apex Legends” does not have a youth rating (USK 18).

Which technical terms should you know?

Respawn Beacon: If a player is shot down, the team members who are still alive have the opportunity to bring the fallen comrade back into the game: Each eliminated player leaves behind a so-called Respawn Banner, which can be collected by the players of the own team and handed in at one of 28 Respawn Beacons, certain on the map. If this succeeds, the fallen player returns to the game.

Jumpmaster: At the beginning of the game, one of the maximum three players of a team always takes on the role of the jumpmaster. He decides when and where his team enters the game area.

Ping: Using the middle mouse button, players can alert their teammates to interesting locations in the game world or enemies. These pings are a valuable tool for communicating quickly and efficiently within the team.
