First details about the upcoming – Season 2 Battle Pass of Apex Legends are out.For Apex Legends players, the second – Season is already visible on the horizon. The main change will be the Battle Pass, which was less well received by fans in – Season 1. EA also announced a limited time event for next week (via Electronic Arts).
Apex – Season 2 Battle Pass changes
The developers have taken the criticism of the first Battle Pass to heart and made some adjustments to the content you get for leveling up. Among the most important changes is that you now get more legendary items. Also, it won’t take you as long to reach level 100.
Battle Pass – Season 2 of Apex Legends:
- Daily and weekly challenges
- The time to Battle Pass Lvl. 100 is noticeably shorter
- 3 additional legendary skins
- 3 completely new content categories, instead of badges & stat trackers.
- Enough crafting material to build a legendary item
Legendary rewards are now available every 25 levels, including after purchasing the Battle Pass. That means you get one legendary skin each at levels 1, 25, 50, 75 and 100. Plus the one you can build using the crafting materials.
More info at EA Play/E3. More details about the second – Season and the Battle Pass will be revealed at EA Play on June 8. Then it might also be revealed what the upcoming character looks like.
When does – Season 2 start? The upcoming – Season does not have an exact date yet, but it is supposed to start in June. So it won’t take much longer.
New event: The Legendary Hunt

Nevertheless, impatient natures will soon get their money’s worth, because EA has also announced a time-limited event for Apex Legends. This event is called “The Legendary Hunt” and starts next Tuesday.
Apex Legends Event: The Legendary Hunt
- Launch: June 4 (Tuesday)
- Duration: 2 weeks
- Elite cue: If you make it into the top 5, you will be placed in a special cue with only other top 5 players. If you don’t make it into the top five again, you’ll be kicked out.
- Rewards: You get new skins for time-limited tasks
- Double XP Weekend: from June 7 to June 10 there will be double experience points for player and Battle Pass levels.
- Extra levels: Make it to the top 5 and get an entire Battle Pass level as a reward (only once per day)
- New Legendary Skins: Every three to four days there are new legendary skins in the store
- More with Battle Pass: If you have the – Season 1 BP, there is a weapon skin and a Wraith skin starting at level 15.
