This is the best and the worst part of Newcastle. The drone is not as easy to control as it should be, especially in the heat of battle. So it is easy to waste this ability. But if you use and utilize the ability properly, you have one of the better tactical abilities in the game here.

Passive: Wounded Recovery
You can pull downed characters, and when you do, your knockdown shield unfolds in front of you and the person you’re pulling. It is significantly larger than a normal knockdown shield, but can be destroyed in the same way.
Wounded Salvage is significantly less powerful than Newcastle’s obvious competitor, Lifeline. But it is by no means weak. It’s the kind of ability that can save the group if used properly. The real trick is not to overestimate the strength of the shield you get, because it can still be easily broken, and you have to be patient with your resurrections.

Ulti: Castle Wall

In other shooters, Newcastle would be called an anchor. In a Battle Royale context, it’s not quite the same, but in general you’ll hold the power positions and provide support to your team. Allow the Legends to go with more mobility and get kills or investigate battles nearby. The only exception is when you use your Tactical Shield in the push, but this ability can be destroyed by the enemy without much trouble. So don’t think it’s good enough for a solo push.

The abilities are very destructible, so if you see a Newcastle use the shield or pull up a wall and then keep firing, you don’t need to be particularly put off by these abilities.
Many Newcastles impatiently revive their teammates, and do so when they are still vulnerable. Take advantage of this flaw and push when you see them wanting to be revived.
The castle wall only faces one direction, it doesn’t cover the sides very well. Send a mobile legend to the flank, and it should be able to render that Ulti useless.
