All Valorant agents and abilities of the riot shooter confirmed so far

At the beginning of March, the Californians from presented their new first-person shooter, . So far, eight characters, the so-called agents, have been confirmed. We introduce you to the characters and their special abilities.

In the summer of 2020, maker Riot Games will launch Valorant, a competitor for CS: GO and that combines elements of both shooters and grabs the crown in the tactical shooter genre with interesting ideas.

A total of eight agents have been confirmed so far, all of whom have their own personal abilities. More characters are to follow in the course of time. We provide you with an overview of the already known faces and their abilities.

Brimstone

Brimstone is a classic supporter who supports the team with versatile abilities. His abilities allow him to steer the battle in the direction he wants and give his own team an advantage.

  • Ability 1: Incendiary – Throws an incendiary grenade that creates a field of fire that damages enemies.
  • Ability 2: Stim Beacon – Summons a supply pack that provides rapid-fire to all nearby allies.
  • Signature Ability: Sky Smoke – Using the mini-map, you can call in a smoke screen anywhere on the map, limiting the vision of all players.
  • Ability: Orbital Strike – Use the map to position yourself for a devastating orbital strike that deals high damage for several seconds.
Brimstone’s Ultimate deals powerful damage to the target area.

Jett

Jett is an agile and fast assassin who impresses with her high mobility and is correspondingly hard to hit. She’s great for striking fast and getting out of harm’s way just as quickly thanks to her abilities.

  • Ability 1: Cloudburst – Throws a cloud of mist that impairs vision. If you hold down the ability button, you can determine the trajectory of the cloud.
  • Ability 2: Updraft – The ability allows Jett to catapult himself into the air.
  • Signature Ability: Tailwind – An instant jump over a short distance in the direction you are currently moving.
  • Ultimate Ability: Blade Storm – Arms you with deadly throwing knives that deal moderate damage but kill instantly on a head hit. A kill replenishes spent throwing knives.
Head hits from Jett’s throwing knives are lethal.

Omen

Omen loves to hunt in the dark. He is perhaps the trickiest character in the Valorant roster and is even able to teleport anywhere on the map.

  • Ability 1: Paranoia – Shoots a shadow in a straight line, making all enemies hit “short-sighted” and presumably blinding.
  • Ability 2: Shadow Walk – After a short recharge, Omen teleports a short distance across the map.
  • Signature Ability: Dark Cover – You send out an invisible orb that explodes at the end, obscuring vision in a radius. Can be recharged, which increases distance.
  • Ultimate Ability: From the Shadows – Choose a location on the map to teleport to. There, Omen appears briefly as a shadow before becoming attackable. If he is killed, he returns to the starting point – alive.
Valorant promises tactical battles with varied agents.

Cypher

Cypher’s main skill is gathering important information about opponents to give your team an advantage.

  • Ability 1: Trapwire – Places an invisible tripwire between two walls. If an enemy triggers this, they will be held in place for a short time and revealed to your team.
  • Ability 2: Cyber Cage – Throws a trap that can be activated from a distance. Re-activation creates a cage that slows enemies inside. A button press activates a trap, press and hold triggers all thrown traps.
  • Signature Ability: Spycam – Places a camera that monitors an area. Can be activated to shoot arrows that reveal enemy positions.
  • Ultimate Ability: Neural Theft – Extracts information from a fallen enemy, revealing the location of all living enemies.

Phoenix

This character is on fire – literally. Phoenix is a strong warrior who goes into battle with fire magic.

  • Ability 1: Hot Hands – Throws a fireball that explodes after a short delay or contact. Deals damage and heals Phoenix.
  • Ability 2: Blaze – Creates a wall of flame that blocks vision and deals damage to all who pass through it.
  • Signature Ability: Curveball – Throws a flare that explodes after a short delay, momentarily blinding all who look into it. Can even be thrown around corners with left and right spin.
  • Ultimate Ability: Run it back – Marks your current position. If you die while the ability is active or if it runs out, you will awaken again at the selected position with full life energy.

Sage

Sage is a classic supporter and the healer among Valorant’s characters. Her abilities are somewhat reminiscent of ’s in Overwatch.

  • Ability 1: Slow Orb – Throws an orb that explodes on contact, creating a slowing field. Enemies moving through the field cannot jump and also make louder noises.
  • Ability 2: Barrier Orb – Creates a large wall that cannot be traversed. Can be rotated before placement.
  • Signature Ability: Healing Orb – Heals an ally or self to full HP.
  • Ultimate Ability: Resurrection – Revives a targeted fallen ally to full health.

Viper

The sly Viper is all about poisons and corrosive acids. It is capable of inflicting tremendous damage on enemies and robbing them of sight.

  • Ability 1: Snakebite – Fires a puddle of acid as a projectile, damaging all enemies within.
  • Ability 2: Poison Cloud – Throws a gas emitter at a location that can be activated to create a poisonous cloud. Consumes fuel.
  • Signature Ability: Toxic Screen – Places a long line of gas emitters that create a massive wall of deadly gas against fuel.
  • Ultimate Ability: Viper’s Pit – Creates a large toxic cloud around himself that remains active until Viper leaves it. Enemies within the cloud are revealed to the team.
Assassin Viper relies on nasty poisons and deadly gases.

Sova

The tracker and hunter are among the characters. Sova relies on his bow and an owl drone, which are extremely useful to his own team.

  • Ability 1: Shock Bolt – Shoots an explosive arrow that sends out a pulsing wave of damage upon impact.
  • Ability 2: Owl Drone – Creates a steerable drone that shoots an arrow that reveals hit enemies to your team.
  • Signature Ability: Recon Bolt – Fires a sonar arrow that reveals enemy positions near the point of impact. The arrow can be destroyed.
  • Ultimate Ability: Hunter’s Fury – Fires up to three energy arrows that fly throughout the map. Hit players take high damage and are revealed.

ValorantAgent


Agents are the playable characters in Valorant. Each agent belongs to one of four possible classes and has four abilities. In addition, almost every agent represents a country.

There are nineteen agents in total, although in the earliest versions of the game there were only eight. The rest were added gradually.

There are four different classes: Duelist, Initiator, Controller, and Sentinel.

Agents have one Signature Ability which they get free of charge each round.

The riot was meaning to send off the game with 12 agents, however, just 8 were accessible in the early press constructs. On March 29, 2020, a confidential occasion presented Breach.
