The 6th Airborne Division is a World War II allied force. The only known commander is Sergeant Maddock.
Battle of Bastogne – 28 December 1944
After Maddock’s unit received orders to destroy the German camp in Bastogne, they split into two groups. One went ahead to reconnoiter the area, while the other got a little mission briefing. As Team 2 advanced, a shot from a sniper rifle rang out and Rogers fell to the ground. As Sharpe finally finished off the two gunmen, more soldiers poured out of the barn and attacked your team, which by now had been decimated to 5 people. After all the enemies were killed Private Sharp went up into the mill and, armed with a sniper rifle, waited for the German ignorant patrol to finish them off. They then went deeper into the town to the objective. They destroyed the tanks and thus secured the advance of the British.
Battle of Bure – January 4, 1945
After the failure of Captain Randall’s troops at the Battle of Bure, the last survivors including him were pinned down at an old church. Randall was injured and could no longer walk. So they enlisted the help of Sergeant Maddock’s unit to evacuate the remaining people. Maddock’s men eventually fought their way to the church and only had to deal with the German troops attacking the church. Eventually, however, there were too many of them and they took Randall to the jeeps. During the escape itself, one of the jeeps was destroyed by a German Tiger tank. Taylor was finally able to move the tank into a bridge and get Randall, Sharpe, Maddock and him to safety.
Battle of Wesel – 28 March 1945
The last confirmed engagement of the 6th was the Battle of Wesel, Germany. Shortly after crossing the Rhine, the 6th attacked a German command post. When all the enemy present had fallen, headquarters sent a halftrack to engage the British under fire. Fortunately, the 6th was able to escape into a house and destroy the vehicle with bazookas. After the half-track was on fire, more enemy attacked and Sharp had to get back to the sniper rifle. The main objective of the battle was actually to destroy the guns firing at the British ships posted on the Rhine. When the 6th finally destroyed the guns, more reports came in of guns firing on allied airmen. After these were also finished off, they only had to withstand one last counterattack before the rescuing reinforcements arrived. After its arrival, the 6th Airborne Division finished its part.
