Put on your space pirate hats and reload the Space Blaster. Patch 10.15 includes the new galaxy Plunder Planet and several champions have been adjusted. Read the patch notes for 10.15 here!
After patch 10.14 was only on the servers for a short time, but still caused some unrest, the new adjustments for Teamfight Tactics are coming now. We explain what the team around Mort has in store for you.
The galaxies
- Plunder Planet: All champions have a chance to drop a coin when they die, especially the first few. The galaxy should make the game a lot faster and reward aggressive play in the early game.
- The Neekoversum: Removed from the game.
- Galactic Arsenal: All players now get the same three item components, instead of two full items. Which items players build from them is up to them. This provides a fair amount of balance and no longer forces players into combos.
Subclasses
- Cosmic: The healing of the lowest level will be slightly generated: 20/45/150% ⇒ 15/45/150%.
Championbalance
Tier 1
- Graves: The glare duration of his smoke grenade is increased. 2/3/5 ⇒ 3/4/6 seconds.
- What was taken away with his first nerf, the blaster now gets back. We find 4 seconds at level 2 to be very powerful already.
- Jarvan IV: Additional attack speed of the “Timeless Standard” for allied champions: 75/85/95 % ⇒ 50/60/75 %.
- Everything that was given to the Prince in the last patches, Riot has now taken away from him. This brings J4 back down to earth.
Tier 2
- Darius: Life: 750 ⇒ 800 Total Mana: 60 ⇒ 50
- The space jam combo was not weak anyway. With these Darius buffs, we should see a new S-tier team soon. Especially the lower mana cost is a huge boost, so Darius will start the second sooner to give his opponents One Hits, which he lacked before.
- Lucian: Total Mana: 0/35 ⇒ 0/30 + Damage from Relentless Pursuit: 150/200/375 ⇒ 175/250/550.
- Lucian was tinkered with until the last second. At times, his ability did 700 base damage on the test server. That was probably too much of a good thing. Still, the new stats are quite impressive. With Lucian’s buffs, the early game of Cybernetics and Blasters is stronger again. The latter additionally benefit from the Graves buff!
- Rakhan: Life: 700 ⇒ 650.
- The strength of his ability combined with his low cost let Rakhan become too popular in patch 10.14. Riot takes some of the wind out of the Guardian’s space sails. Coupled with the Cosmic Nerf, the changes will certainly be felt.
Tier 3
- Ashe: Starting mana: 50 ⇒ 40.
- This makes the first stun arrow come a little later.
- Master Yii: Armor: 30 ⇒ 50 + Magic Resistance: 20 ⇒ 35.
- This will significantly increase the Blademaster’s survivability.
- Neeko: Starting/Total Mana: 25/100 ⇒ 35/110.
- Neeko is a popular tank in Sorcerer combos. Now, however, she can’t protect her star guardian friends as well.
- Vayne: Attack Damage: 50 ⇒ 55.
Tier 4
- Jhin: Damage from “4th shot”: 350/500/4,444% ⇒ 344/444/4,444%.
- Anyone who has played TFT lately will understand that it had to be generated…. But will it be enough?
- Jinx: attack speed after first kill: 50/70/100% ⇒ 50/75/125%.
- Very few will get Jinx at level 3. 5% more attack speed at level 2 probably won’t make much difference. Still – another blaster buff!
- Soraka: Healing from “Wish”: 375/550/20,000 ⇒ 325/500/20,000.
- Not too little, not too much. Now you can at least think about whether to really play it.
- Viktor: Total Mana: 70 ⇒ 60.
- So he’s using his ability more often now. Whether that will be enough to make him a strong pick in Patch 10.15 remains to be seen.
Tier 5
- Janna: Start/total mana: 30/100 ⇒ 20/100.
- Her first whirlwinds stop the enemies a bit later now. I wonder if that’s enough when inspiration is her real strength.
- Xerath: Life: 750 ⇒ 700 Starting Mana: 30 ⇒ 20.
- The strongest of all Dark Stars was a bit too strong. Here, too, Riot has subtly adjusted.
The patch notes for patch 10.15 read well in our opinion. Darius may be a bit too dangerous, but overall the changes should provide more diversity in the combos and steer the meta in a good direction. We’ll know more in a week or two and the first stats will be available. Then, of course, there will be an immediate update about the TFT meta. What do you think of the changes? Has Riot generated or buffed your favorites? Are you in the mood for another space adventure? Let us know and share your best TFT combos on Facebook or Twitter!
