The TFT Patch 10.14 has been live on the servers for about a week now. We take a look at the patch notes and statistics of Teamfight Tactics. What has changed in the meta, which champ is the absolute meta pick and belongs to the top tier now? Find out here!

In a game like Teamfight Tactics, it always takes a while for the best combos to emerge – in other words, the meta needs time to develop. We’ve been watching the first days of Patch 10.14 closely and have created a summary of the best combos and items for you. What’s new in TFT Set 3.5 Galaxies? Here are the top tier combos and champions for easy wins!

If you want an overview of the complete patch notes for 10.14, click here. But we’ll discuss the most important thing: In the last few days, a clear pattern has emerged. Dark Stars, Dark Stars and… Sniper. This is due to two things:

  • The Dark Star subclass was changed in patch 10.13 to give every Dark Star champion AD and AP bonuses for EVERY ally that dies.
  • With patch 10.14, many Dark Star champions have been buffed and the best items for them have been buffed as well.

Jarvan out of control

Although Jarvan already received a hotfix on July 13, he is still incredibly strong. He is Tier 1 and thus costs almost nothing. His ability gives a buff to the entire team – again, a whopping bonus in terms of attack speed. You’ll find him in almost every S-tier combo regardless of whether Dark Stars are involved – and for good reason. Meanwhile, he’s even the main tank and you can build items on him early, which only makes him stronger. However, his incredible strength is also his weakness. Everyone wants to play him, and you’ll have trouble upgrading him to 3 stars because of it.

EarlyGame tip: Be satisfied with 2 stars if more than 2 people are playing Jarvan in the lobby. Rather use your gold differently and save it.

The perfect meta for Jhin

The sniper is currently a must-have, should you play Sniper. The change to Blade of Infinity with 100% crit probability in combination with Last Breath even the strongest tank won’t survive for long – at the latest after the 4th shot it’s over.

EarlyGame tip: If you play Dark Star + Sniper, focus on completing the 2 items for Jhin. Play them on Caitlyn at the beginning and put a few tanks in front of them. This way you will get through the early game just fine for little gold and once you reach level 7 or 8, you can swap Caitlyn for Jhin. From then on the fun starts.

Here we have the best Jhin/J4 combos including items

EarlyGame tip: Take the tier ranking with a grain of salt. Don’t force yourself too much into such a meta combo, but rather take the set ups as a . If 5 out of 8 players try to play Dark Stars and Sniper, you won’t get far. In that case, you’d better switch to non-contested champions – you’ll have them in no time.

We will keep you updated in any case. If there are any changes in the Teamfight Tactics meta, we’ll let you know here first!
