Patch Day! Wednesday is the day when patch 10.15 goes live on the Teamfight Tactics servers. Just recently we had a look at the patch notes of 10.14 for you. Now the next changes are just around the corner. What will happen in the meta? Which champ will be hit particularly hard by patch 10.15? And who will be part of the new top tier?
Not all changes for the TFT Patch 10.15 are known and finalized yet. Nevertheless, we have the latest information directly from the test server for you.
“One thing I want to note here is that we are being EXTREMELY careful with this patch, watching for meta shifts and doing additional testing. So expect some of this to change by Monday.”
That’s what Riot Mort, Teamfight Tactics team lead, wrote about the patch preview in the TFT Reddit.
Now let’s get to the already known buffs, nerfs and changes in patch 10.15:
Galaxies
- The Neeko universe is removed
The galaxy was not well received and was difficult to balance. Mort and his team decided to remove it from the game.
- Galactic Arsenal is adjusted
The team is aware of how important items are and how much influence they have on the choice of combo. Therefore, more generally useful items will be made available at the beginning of the game to allow the team to continue to choose freely.
- NEW: Plunder Planet
Those who just mourned the Neeko universe can look forward to a new galaxy. Strongly tactical inspired, you can fight each other in this galaxy in the future. Every defeated enemy champion has a chance to drop gold – Space Pirates for everyone, yay!
The Buffs
- Graves
The man with the smoke is getting really valuable again! Graves blind duration has been increased to 3/4/6 from 2/3/5 seconds. If you play the Space Pirate on 3 stars and hit your opponent’s carries, you can win a round with that alone. Maybe a little too much of a good thing, Mort?
Your Attack Speed bonus is increased to 75/100/150% from 50/70/100%. This should give all Blaster and Rebel combos the boost they need to get back to being one of the top tier combos in the 10.15 meta.
- Lucian
As of this morning, Lucian is one of the most buffed champions. The damage of his ability has been increased from 150/200/375 to 200/250/700. We can already smell the Sorcerer-Lucian combos and 6-cybernetics!
Besides these 3 champions, Darius, Master Yii, Urgot and Viktor will be buffed. However, nothing more is known here yet.
The Nerfs
- Jhin
In the last part of our meta report we introduced Jhin as a must-have. At this point, we hope you followed our recommendation and actually took advantage of his strength. The bonus damage of his 4th shot will be lowered to 315/430/4444% from 350/500/4444% in patch 10.15.
On top of that, despite the hotfix nerf on July 13, Jarvan will be weakened once again. How strong his nerf will be is not yet known. But this combination will visibly hit Dark Star sniper players.
Besides these two, Janna, Xerath and Rakhan will also receive mitigating changes. Wednesday we will know to what extent our favorites are affected.
We know how much work Mort and his team put into balancing Teamfight Tactics and believe the game will be even better with patch 10.15. As soon as the patch goes live, we’ll tell you about the full patch notes right away.
