You are a fan of League of Legends? You want to finally get out of this Gold I hell? Then you probably need to do a bit more than just read this article. But it’s a good start. Not only are there some pre– Season changes, Riot releases a lot of patches during the – Season .
So to make it a bit easy for you, we’ve listed the whole list of patches and the LoL patch schedule here. This will keep you up to date on what changes are coming to the Rift. Even though the patches are designed in the USA, they should still concern you in Germany. They are global.
What is the current LoL patch?
Currently we are in LoL patch 12.10. In this patch we get several updates. Riot finally wants to do something about the power creep problem in League of Legends and as a result Durabilty is completely buffed.
All patch release dates for LoL in 2022
Here are all the patch dates for the upcoming – Season 12 So we can already predict that either LoL Patch 12.18 and 12.19 will be available for Worlds 2022 and Patch 12.8 could be the MSI patch.
How often are the patches released?
Patches are usually released every two weeks. This gives the time to test out your favorite champion a bit before Riot catapults it back into orbit with the nerf hammer. A shot in the dark. This two-week patch schedule ensures that you can play your favorite champ on one hand, and Riot can get the most out of their patches on the other.
Does it always feel balanced? Absolutely not! But with over 157 champions, 6 dragons, and way too many items, it’s a really big system to balance.
So we’re really sorry, Fiora’s damage is not reduced, but at least you don’t have a single tool to counter her.
Why are the patch updates every two weeks?
When we just said that there are patch updates every two weeks, that was not the complete truth. Some patch periods last even 3 weeks. This is often due to vacations or vacations when Mr. and Mrs. Balance Team get a break to go to the French Alps. Sometimes major changes are made and the team simply needs extra data – for example before the Worlds 2021 or during the Pre– Season .
The patches are updated (almost) every two weeks because the balancing issues are simply so huge. With these bi-weekly patches, Riot manages to make the adjustments when they need them. This keeps the game fresh and clean.
Before a patch goes live, all players can test the upcoming changes. This includes upcoming skins and other system changes on the PBE. With this data, Riot can still make the final adjustments in time.
Does this stop bugs from creeping into our games? Probably not. League isn’t perfect, but these continuous changes keep the game interesting. When did LoL actually get so old?
