Caitlyn ASU in LoL Patch 11.23
Caitlyn has received something of an update in LoL Patch 11.23. Her headshots have been recoded as boosted attacks instead of abilities. This means that her headshot timer is now synced with her auto-attacks. Time will tell if this nerfed them too much in higher elos or not.
- The ASU is responsible for the following changes:
- Voiceover: Standard Caitlyn has a new voiceover
- Basic Attack: Added an ejected bullet when her rifle reloads
- Passive – Headshot: The sound effect of Passive – Ready has been adjusted for a stronger Hextech feel. The sound effect now plays when Caitlyn’s headshot is ready.
- Q- Piltover Peacemaker: New meshes and particles give the look more hextech appearance. Initial sound effects from hits are now more effective than subsequent hits.
- W Yordle Snap Trap: Added trap indicator and graphic effects for activation. Trap sound effects have been adjusted to match the new animation time.
- E – 90 Caliber Net: New range indicator. Hit sound effects are now more effective.
- R – Ace in the Hole: New laser and hextech graphics. Casting sound effects are now more effective and have additional hextech elements.

Ultimate Spellbook is back with LoL Patch 11.23
Ultimate Spellbook is a new game mode that Riot already brought into the game during the Sentinels and Ruination events. In this mode, players can choose another champion’s Ulti instead of a Summoner Spell.
Ultimate Spellbook is also the last “fun” mode in 2021. In the first attempt, the Game Mode could already convince with INSANE Plays and pretty funny matches. Of course, we’re hoping for even more awesome Ultimates now – especially since we’ve been busy collecting data over the summer.
