We’re nearing the end of – Season 11 of League of Legends Ranked Play, which makes these patch notes pretty important. The – Season is pretty much on its last legs and if you’re stuck in Silver I right now, this is your last chance to climb into Gold. After all, you don’t want to miss out on that sexy Victorious Blitzcrank skin, do you?
With various Jungle changes, new items that many people hate, and a new look for the Item Shop, the 2021 – Season has certainly been a roller coaster ride. So before you get your LoL experience turned upside down yet again, let’s take a look at the small changes with LoL Patch 11.21 first.
Teemo Blinding Dart Buffs in LoL Patch 11.21
Thanks to the buffed Blinding Dart, Teemo looks to be a pretty solid pick with the upcoming LoL Patch 11.21. Q’s cooldown will be reduced with the patch, making him a real top lane threat. If the fact that he can blind you much more often doesn’t trigger you yet, wait and see.
This is because the duration of Teemo’s blind is also buffed. In concrete terms, this means that you can blind your opponent’s champions permanently with a maxed Q – at least that’s how it feels as an opponent.
Lux shines with patch 11.21
As Riot wrote themselves in the patch notes, Lux hasn’t exactly been the brightest star in the champion sky lately. Means, of course, that she’s getting some buffs. The E Damage buff from patch 11.10 wasn’t enough, so now she’s getting another one.
The duration of her Passive Illumination Mark has been extended if Lux Auto-Attack is already on target or her R – Final Spark – is cast. Her E and Ulti also get some of the Riot love, as they deal more damage.
Fierce Goredrinker Nerf in Patch 11.21.
Goredrinker was one of the best items in League of Legends – Season 11, and now that Assassins and not just Bruisers are building the item as well, Riot is saying “enough is enough!” and finally giving the item the nerf it deserves.
So what exactly is being done to end the reign of Goredrinker? Well, Riot takes away the Low Health Bonus AD (Fighter Damage Nerf) and weakens the Thirsting Slashs AD Scaling (Assassins Damage Nerf).
- While Goredrinker is an item for fighters like Sett, it’s also pretty rad for Assassins like Kha’Zix.
Goredrinker guarantees 8% Omnivamp and deals 175% of Base AD with the Active. What was actually removed then? Goredrinker no longer gives 0-15% (depending on missing life) of your AD as bonus AD and also no longer guarantees 150% Health Regeneration.
/All Chat disabled in patch 11.21
For this patch – and for the next one – the /All Chat will be disabled. In other words, this means you won’t be able to use the All Chat feature for a few weeks. Riot is doing this in an attempt to combat toxicity in the games – but the decision to ban /all for now was met with a lot of frustration from the community. That’s why Riot has rowed back a bit and only announced a test phase for the next two patches. After that, the /All chat will return to the game.
Skins released in LoL Patch 11.21
With LoL Patch 11.21 we get seven new skins. Riot releases fresh Dragonmancer skins, which are rocked by five champions. Volibear and Yasuo even get two skins in this patch.
- Dream Dragon Yasuo
- Truth Dragon Yasuo
- Lagoon Dragon Kai’Sa
- Steel Dragon Thresh
- Tranquility Dragon Karma
- Duality Dragon Volibear
- Duality Dragon Volibear Prestige Edition
Volibear will get a Prestige Skin in this patch – so only Brand will go empty-handed this year. Maybe the Prestige Brand Skin we have been waiting for so long will come in patch 11.23 – and of course the Debonair 2.0 Skins!
