LoL Patch 11.19 for 2021 is finally live, and with it comes a slew of champion buffs and the release of the female Yordle since 2012. We’re gearing up for the biggest Esports event of the year! Patch 11.19 contains the final adjustments before the action begins on October 5.

Vex is finally released! After a long wait, we can finally play the mage on the mid-lane. Of course, this is not the only new feature in this patch. Patch 11.19 is probably the most important patch of the year, as we have a whole month to deal with it during the 2021 World Championship. So let’s jump right into the highlights of LoL Patch 11.19!

Vex Champion Release in LoL Patch 11.19

Vex is finally here! We’ve been talking about the Yordle for months, trying to figure out who she might be – for a long time we thought her name was Norra – and what abilities she might have. Now we can finally play her in LoL Patch 11.19!

  • Do you know where the 2021 Worlds are taking place yet?

Her abilities look like a lot of fun and she doesn’t seem to be completely overloaded, making her an ideal pick for anyone looking to try out the mid-lane. The fact that she counters Dashes is also extremely valuable! If you look at the recent releases of Champs, Dashes are the first thing to be developed on Champs.

Here is a brief overview of Vex’s abilities:

Passive Ability: Doom and Perdition – Doom – Vex is regularly boosted by Doom. This causes her next basic ability to interrupt sprints, jumps, and teleportations, putting fear into enemies. / Doom – When a nearby enemy uses a jump or Lightning, they are marked with Doom. Vex’s next normal attack against a marked enemy causes the mark to explode, dealing additional damage to the target and refunding part of the cooldown of Doom.

Q: Mistral Shot – Vex fires a wave forward, dealing magic damage to enemies in its path. After a short delay, the wave speeds up and narrows. “Mistral Shot” causes “Doom” to explode on all marked enemies hit by this ability.

W: Keep Distance – Vex gains a shield and unleashes a shockwave that deals damage to all enemies within its radius. “Keep Distance” causes “Doom” to explode on all marked enemies hit by this ability.

E: Menacing Darkness – Shadow flies to a location and grows larger as it travels. Upon arrival, Shadow deals magical damage, slows down any enemies hit, and marks them with Doom.

R: Shadowfall – Shadow flies forward, marking the first enemy champion hit and dealing magic damage. Vex can cast the ability again to have Shadow pull him to the marked target and deal additional magic damage to him. – If the marked target dies within a short time after taking damage from Shadowfall, Vex can recast Shadowfall for a few seconds.

Fizz changes undone in LoL patch 11.19

Fizz received some massive changes in the last patch, but instead of helping fish, he completely disappeared from the scene. Instead of refining these changes and figuring out how to make them work, Riot has decided to completely undo them.

  • Did you know that is currently developing an MMO?

Instead, it received a simpler buff in LoL patch 11.19. The previous changes were an attempt to make him more usable in Pro Play. So we hope that the easy buff he received in LoL Patch 11.19 will allow him to make an appearance in the 2021 World Championship.

Qiyana E+Q combo adjusted in LoL Patch 11.19

Qiyana’s E+Q combo was hard to dodge before LoL Patch 11.18. Riot adjusted the auto-aim so that players were able to flash or dash from it before the combo. Unfortunately, this targeting fix was a bit too much and everyone was able to escape the combo easily. RIP.

  • – Season 11 will be over soon! Reach gold quickly to get the – Season Skin.

Because of this, Riot has made some adjustments so that you can’t escape her E+Q combo even if you use a Dash or Flash and still stay in her range. On top of that, of course, her Jungle stats were adjusted as well, since she wasn’t showing the success that the balance team expected from her.

Ryze Nerfs in LoL Patch 11.19.

Ryze has left the other mid laners behind in most regions. The damage on his Q goes down and the cooldown on his E goes up to ensure he doesn’t completely at Worlds.

What skins were released in LoL Patch 11.19?

Eight skins were released in LoL Patch 11.19. Seven of them are new Dawnbringer and Nightbringer skins – one of them is a Prestige skin – and the last skin belongs to Jarvan IV.

Which champions got Dawnbringer and Nightbringer skins?

These 6 champions got Dawnbringer and Nightbringer skins:

  • Yone
  • Kayne
  • Tryndamere
  • Vex
  • Lillia
  • Morgana

In addition, Kayn, who will finally get a skin after 3 years, will receive a prestige skin. If you want to know what skins came out in 2021, check out our skin catalog!

The champion who will get a championship skin this year is Jarvan IV. Many fans were upset with this decision, but thanks to the buffs he received throughout the year, we might actually see him at the Championship this year.
