Thanks to the new TFT set Gizmos and Gadgets, we may have gotten a first preview of new LoL skins. Will there be Arcanse skins soon thanks to the Netflix series Arcane?
With the reveal of the latest TFT set that will go live with LoL Patch 11.22, fans have gotten their first taste of possible new LoL skins.
Which champions will get an Arcane skin?
Caitlyn, Jinx, Vi and Jayce will be getting an Arcane Skin. Through the TFT Reveal we could already see how the skins might look in-game, but Splash Arts were also leaked.
Caitlyn’s model is also getting a visual overhaul, by the way. It’s been teased in TFT before, and Riot themselves have confirmed that they’re working on visual updates that won’t be as expensive as VFX updates.
How much will the arcade skins cost?
Currently it is not known how much the arcade skins will cost. Maybe they will cost nothing at all? Maybe there will be another event in the client for the release of Arcane?
The Splash Arts tweet says that fans should stay tuned to find out how they can get the skins. So could mean that you can get the skins in other ways…? like Unbound Thresh did back in the day!
When are the Arcane skins coming out?
TFT Patch 11.22 will go live on November 3, three days before Arcane comes out on Netflix. If these skins are also coming to the Summoner’s Rift, then we would certainly see them with LoL Patch 11.22. So if Vi, Jayce, Jinx and Caitlyn really do get Arcane skins, it will be in LoL Patch 11.22. By the way, LoL Patch 11.22 goes live at the same time as the TFT patch, which is November 3.
Whether Caitlyn’s Visual Update will go live at the same time is not yet known.
When Arcane goes live, we’ll definitely have a lot to say about it. So be sure to check back often in November to make sure you don’t miss any news about Arcane. But that doesn’t mean we won’t be covering the Worlds or Patch Notes at the same time. Of course we won’t neglect them.
