Players in LoL esports come and go. Many leave behind winning streaks and impressive moves, but few reach the legend status of these 7 esportsmen.
The South Korean from SK Telecom T1 has been a professional player since March 2013 and took the competitive scene by storm. In that time, the 25-year-old has won the World Cup three times, the most important tournament of the year, and is the only professional LoL player to have played under the same organization for almost nine years.
He is known for numerous outplays, for example as Zed against Ryu’s Zed or his solo kill in his opener against Ambition, who was considered the best midlaner at the time. Faker also has nine regional titles in the top Korean league to his credit, as well as various other achievements. Faker is synonymous with superlatives of all kinds and continues to impress with consistently strong performances years after his debut. The superstar will be talked about long after his career is over.
One of the best players in the world mechanically is 24-year-old Chinese Uzi. As the player with the most kills in professional matches, both regionally and internationally, he always stood out from the crowd of adc’s. He is known for his dreaded Vayne, with which he had three of the five pentakills in the LPL.
This year he came back from his one and a half year retirement and joined the team of Bilibili Gaming, which was a shock for many fans, as Uzi has spent his whole career under the flag of RNG. Although he has won many regional titles, he has never been able to win the World Championship. A goal that Uzi has always had and still wants to achieve!

Meet Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodríguez, the founder and CEO of G2 Esports.
Before Faker’s time, there was only one best midlaner and that was Ambition. After joining Team MiG Blaze in 2011, he enjoyed many international successes. Until 2014, the 29-year-old played Midlane, but then decided to switch to the Jungle. In hindsight, it turned out to be one of the best decisions he could make, as he won the World Championship with Team Samsung Galaxy in 2017.
Today Ambition is known as a streamer for Gen.G and can look back on his many successes. He is one of the few players who successfully changed roles and had more success afterwards than before.
The former face of G2 was 23-year-old Perkz. Under the organization, the Croatian played for five years – three of them as a midlaner and two as an adc. After many successes in the LEC, he was able to prove himself in the LCS as well, where he was able to grab a title. He is known for his outstanding performance in stressful situations and his confidence when it counts.
In the current split, he has returned to Europe after being homesick, where he plays for super team Vitality. In the 2019 Worlds Finals, he was close to snatching the title and will not let up in 2022 to fulfill his dream. Caps – a midlaner with many names. When he has a bad day, he turns to craps. When he outplays his opponents, his fans affectionately call him Claps. He even changed the spelling of his nickname to “caPs” recently. The 22-year-old Dane became known under the Fnatic organization until he decided to join G2 in 2018.
He will also play the upcoming split there with a new roster built around him. With five MVP awards over his career and always a smile on his face, “Baby Faker” will continue to try and usurp the World Championship title. Known to many as the best support ever, the 27-year-old has had a long career. Mata has long been ahead of his time as a player, employing some tactics and strategies that have become meta over the years. His strongest champion was Thresh, on which he was able to show off his superior mechanics and decisionmaking every time.
He was a player for numerous teams until 2019, when he decided to join RNG as a coach. Although he no longer plays on stage himself, but supports his team with accurate preparation and a lot of experience.
Since his debut in 2017, the 21-year-old Korean has always managed to put on a good show. His amazing mechanics and incredible reaction time probably come from his time as Katarina One-Trick. With his flashy plays and aggressive style of play, he always tries to entertain his audience.
The Midlaner could already secure a World Championship title in 2020. As the youngest player on this list, he has already accomplished quite a bit, but still has a long career ahead of him.
